For its 27th year the French film festival will take place in Perth from the 16th March to 7th April. The best opportunity to experience the latest sophisticated, vibrant and quirky films from France!

During the last 12 years, the French film festival program has more than doubled, growing from 18 films in 2004 to 48 in 2016. This is also reflected in audience attendance which has more than tripled between 2005 and 2015 from approx. 45,000 to 153,000. With 13,500 viewers, the audience in Perth has increased by more than 20% compared to 2014. The festival attracts mainly non-French speakers (85% of Australian audiences in 2013).

The Perth à la Carte team has mapped all festival films in Perth providing a brief overview of each film. More details are available by clicking on each movie including Australian Classification, Storyline, Juicy details, Sessions and Booking link. We have also added the trailers sometime official sometimes not and with or without sub-titles to give you an idea... We have also selected based on trailers one "coup de coeur" per category it was hard to choose since lots of films showing look great... We wish you a great French Film Festival!
